Precepts come from the Buddhas kindness and compassion. These precepts allow us to tell right from wrong. Like bright beacons, precepts provide guidance on the way we should live our lives. However, many people find it difficult to observe the precepts. The observance of precepts is a fundamental part of Dharma practice. Where is the Buddha? The Buddha is there with you when you observe precepts.

非常感恩佛给我们制定的戒律，让我们明辨是非，知道什么可以做，什么不可以做，有所为，有所不为。戒律来自于慈悲，戒律是一盏明灯。航海的时候，漂在海上的是一盏航灯，因为下面有暗礁。戒律就像保险带，就像海中的一盏航灯。但是我们很多人不习惯于戒律， 所以佛在哪里 ？当你受戒的时候，佛就跟你同在。戒是我们学佛很重要的一个环节。
